TG Daily has now reported that the latest iTunes beta (iTunes 7.7) hints at a new free application that will be offered by Apple for iPod Touch and iPhone owners. This application will be named Remote and will allow owners to access iTunes wirelessly from anywhere in their home.

They state that the Remote application will interact with iTunes on your home computer. The data that will be transferred to the iPod Touch will include song name, artist and other data contained within the song file. This will most likely be released in iTunes 7.7 which is expected to launch according with the iPhone Version 2.0 and the 3G iPhone on July 11th.

This is yet another example on how Apple is trying to have more features to compete with the growing MP3 player market. There is still no word if Apple will introduce a wireless internet Sync similar to Microsoft and their Zune Player.
