Apple store experiencing iPod Touch shipping delays
Posted on October 12th, 2007 in Apple, iPod Touch |
Is a product truly super-popular if you can still find it in stores? It’s a good question, but would-be owners of the iPod Touch would be better off whipping out their plastic rather than pondering the semantics of success, since the Apple online store appears to be undergoing something of a delay in shipping the touchscreen PMP. Unlike its music-playing siblings, the Touch will apparently ship in 7 - 10 days rather than the usual 24hrs, leading some to suspect supply issues.
Of course, if you simply must have your new iPod right now, you’d be better off calling your nearest bricks’n'mortar Apple store and seeing if they have any in stock. Even if you do decide to order online you’re still eligible for free shipping, although some have been quoted October 30th before the PMP leaves the Apple warehouses.

Very confusing. This was posted a month ago and now it is November which is even closer to the Holidays but the apple site still says 24hrs. I’m confused. Some help here on why it would say 7-10 days when were closer to the Holidays now that we were in October?
