Cambridge Soundworks i765 with iPod Touch dock
Posted on November 19th, 2007 in iPod Touch Accessories, speaker-dock |
If you’ve been waiting for the right iPod-compatible speaker dock to come along, Cambridge Soundworks may have just the thing for you. Though to be fair, to call the i765 a “speaker dock” is to do it a disservice; with built-in DVD and CD player, FM/AM radio and subwoofer it’s actually squaring up to quite a bit of your existing hifi equipment.

The dock isn’t just an afterthought add-on, either. You have full control of the iPod from the remote control, and it’s compatible with both audio and video (assuming you plug in a TV). Dual-alarms mean that it could serve as a reasonable - albeit bulky - bedside clock, rousing you to radio, CD or audio from the attached iPod.
Cambridge Audio quote compatibility with all iPod models, including Touch, classic and nano; the i765 is priced at $499.99 and is available now.

I’m waiting for a dock that allows the Touch to lay on its side to play video while on the dock
