My God! I didn’t realize just how much thinner the new touch is. 1G iPod Touch is already near-paper thin. How on Earth did they make it thinner?!

It’s actually about the same thickness overall. The edges are just tapered to make it seem thinner.
the more they add an hardware..the more chances of getting it broken..
im really confused im gatting an i touch but im not sure which one to get? everyone is saying that 2g is better but they say that 1g satys charged longer! which one do i get?
I got one of these for Christmas. Unless you have Wifi available, it really isn’t all that amazing a device. I think adding PAN support will greatly improve enjoyment of this device who want to piggyback their laptop or cell phone’s internet connection.
The app store, games and gps features are quite nice too… however, without more than “just” wifi, it kinda fails to live up to my expectations. For the most part, my cell phone does everything this device does and more… just doesn’t have apple’s app store (which is quite nice if you’re on a wifi connection).
