Apple has now confirmed rumors about the availability of a free iPod Touch with the purchase of a Mac, only if you are a college student. So if your a college student and wanted a Mac and an Apple Touch Device then head on down to your local Apple store and make a purchase.

I’m so happy about this! next year is my first year in uni, and getting a new macbook with a free ipod touch and printer with it, plus an educational discount on the mac… this is awesome!!!
I already got mine. This deal is also for faculty and teachers in addition to students. This is my first foray into the mobile music device world. I’ve never been a “stick little earbuds in your ear” kind of guy. I like to feel music as well as hear it. But, as a teacher I figured I need to know what my kids are doing with this technology. So, time for some fun!!
Isn’t this what Apple does before the announce an updated version of an iPod?
I’m willing to bet they announce the a new touch model ready for the holidays within a week after this offer expires.
