If you’re afraid your iPod might get stolen, you might need a bit of camouflage to keep it safe. Not everyone may appreciate vintage technology, but if you do an 80’s Walkman might be just the thing.
It’d be extremely convenient if you already had one lying about, however, you can always keep an eye out on ebay. I found one that is the exact model of the one in the pic, but for some insane reason it is currently going for $50. Through a google search I found that some had been sold on ebay before for much less though.
This particular case was ground out by hand and all of the pieces removed. Then they placed white leather on the inside to line the case. This Walkman is the WM-F10 Sony Walkman and the iPod it was modded to fit for is the 60GB video iPod.

Do a Google search like she did. This is obviously a DIY project, though apparently some people are selling them on eBay.
What a great idea. I have this player somewhere at home, I’ll have to look for it to use with my ipod.
Nice idea. I remember that walkman. Still, I personally would keep it as it wasn’t a bad machine. One little flaw though: doesn’t that particular walkman need to be “expanded” before playing cassettes? Just a thought
the thing was somewhat smaller than the cassettes it played.
