iJailbreak Mobile works direct from your iPod Touch

If you’ve already got an iPod Touch running firmware 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 that has been Jailbroken, rather than going to the effort of plugging it into your computer to run though the latest Jailbreak, why not use wunderkinds AriX and Ben’s iJailbreak Mobile, and do the whole thing directly from your iPod Touch.

It works by installing firmware-specific software on the PMP from Installer.app, which proceeds to download the Apple firmware update, hack it to within an inch of its life, and then install it. You’ll need a decent WiFi connection and 45 minutes or so; the process doesn’t require any attention while it does its thing, but you’ll have to be reasonably careful because there’s a possibility of wiping all the data on your Touch.

Or you can just have a jailbroken 1.1.2 and then install
1) services
2) OpenSSH
3) BSD Subsystem
and then add this source…

Then install the file it adds. Just make sure you iPod it either fully charged and/or plugged in to your computer. It is super easy and super awesome!!! I’ve been running on a jailbroken 1.1.3 for over a week now! (last monday) Hope this helps you all out!
