With a design leaf seemingly taken out of Bose’s book, only embracing the iPod Touch (and its siblings), iLuv’s i255 might have a daft name but it’s certainly not short of functionality.  Not only is there a dock compatible with the iPod Touch, iPod classic (80GB, 160GB), iPod Nano 3rd Gen and iPod with video (30GB, 60GB, 80GB), but a DVD player too.

Aside from plain DVDs you can also load up disks full of photos or mp3s, there’s video and audio out allowing for control on your TV, and an infra-red remote so you needn’t keep jumping up to change track.

Best of all, the estimated price will be a mere $129.99 when it launches in March this year.
