iPhone Dev Team Already have Jailbroken Firmware 2.0?

Many gadgets sites have been claiming that in fact the iPhone Dev Team have cracked the code for iPhone and iPod Touch Version 2.0. The reportedly got the software last night and have already found a process to jailbreak and unlock the new iPhone and iPod Touch.

After the SDK announcement there is little need to download unofficial apps for the devices. However, because of Appleās position in the approving of the apps that go through the App Store, this seems a good idea for people who want apps that Apple just might not approve of.
This is also a must have if you want to have all of the SDK goodness with a different carrier. As of today March 12, 2008 they have announced that they have even made a process to unlock the device to work on other carriers all around the world. We will be able to use the jailbreak in June when the firmware is released with no delay at all.
