When you are browsing in your mobile Safari browser and see an image you would like to save on your iPod Touch, all you have to do is touch the image and hold for about 2 seconds. This will bring up a Save Image or Cancel screen and you may save the image and it will be stored in your Saved Photos section. These photos can then be transfered to your computer from your iPod Touch.

This also requires iPod Touch version 2.0

Hi there, does the picture saving method work on earlier versions?because It doesn’t seem to work. mine is ver 1.1.2,kindly reply.
No this will not work on 1.1.2 just upgrade to 2.0. honostly not that hard to find the download on the Internet. just type iPod touch 2.0 download (google)
When you find,Download, and go to iTunes when it’s finished. Hold shift on the restore iPod button when it tells you to open a file click the one you downloaded let it upgrade and there you go itunes should let you go to 2.2 but that’s not nessicary unless you want it peace
Would this work on like emailed documents or is there a way to save those too?
omgomgomg thank you x1,000 this really works!

If you use the google app you can’t save the images, you have to search for pictures on safari to save them.
