About 2 months ago when reviewer first got their hands on the Touch the reviews were split. It was referred to the “Little Brother” of the iPhone which is lacking some key features. That was then and now a bunch of sites are doing a re-review or the device.

Since the first reviews a new software update has been released. In fact this fixes many of the problems that the reviewers had with the device. Some of these were the screen problems, the lack of the feature to add events in the calendar section, and international keyboards. Now the reviews are very positive are the iPod Touch is now on the top of most top 50 gadget lists.

Another main selling point that much of the people favor now is the ability to jailbreak the iPod Touch. This doesn’t exactly make Apple to happy and this is what led them to release the SDK in February.
