If you own a Apple TV you know that the Apple Remote does not do the job perfectly. Now via the Remote Application you can control many aspects of your Apple TV. After a quick Apple TV upgrade you can use your iPod Touch or iPhone to control most features of Apple TV.

A YouTube video from the T4Show will show you the initial set up and use of the iPod Touch or iPhone. TO set up you simply need to go into the add remote section, open “Remote” on your iPod Touch and select add iPod Touch on the Apple TV. It will then give you a 4 digit code to enter and pair the two devices.
The aspects of the Apple TV that the iPod Touch can control are use of the on screen keyboard (When Needed), scrolling through content stored on your Apple TV (Similar to how you scroll through your music and videos stored on the iPod Touch itself), and adjust volume and other viewing controls. To check out the video demonstration check out YouTube.
