Nano Alert: Leaked Photo of 4th Generation iPod Nano in Packaging?

Engadget posts what is claimed to be an actual photo of one of the new “tall” iPod Nanos. Rumors have been persistent that the iPod Nano would see a return to the “tall” form factor next week. The larger screen will reportedly allow for better viewing of video content.

New in iTunes 8, Magnetosphere Visulizer?

When Kevin Rose started to describe all of the information he had heard about the coming iPods and iTunes 8 he described a new visualizer in iTunes as “Trippy”. Flight 404’s Magnetosphere was available as a free download as an iTunes plug-in until a few months ago.

New in iTunes 8.0 “Genius” and HD TV programs?

There are many music recommendation services out there like Pandora and Last.fm, these programs look through your music and pick songs that will go well with them. Apple is suspected to be releasing a similar feature in iTunes version 8.0.

iPod Touch Dimensions Revealed?

iLounge claims to have discovered the dimensions for the iPod Touch and Nano that are going to be introduced at the “Lets Rock”Apple event this coming Tuesday. In fact, case manufacturer XSKN is already selling cases for the 4th Generation Nano which matches the rumors and does suggest a very rounded design.

Patent: Detailed Full Size Multi-Touch Interface from Apple
