New in iTunes 8, Magnetosphere Visulizer?

When Kevin Rose started to describe all of the information he had heard about the coming iPods and iTunes 8 he described a new visualizer in iTunes as “Trippy”. Flight 404’s Magnetosphere was available as a free download as an iTunes plug-in until a few months ago.

Lower Cost Nano and Refreshed iPod Touch Soon?

Apple is now preparing significant changes to the iPod Nano, Classic and iPod Touch lines. Now there is speculation of an updated nano that is lower in price. This is bring down Apple’s profit margin but it will hope to maintain or improve on growing iPod sales shares.

Remote Buddy: Top iPod Touch Streaming App

iPhone Atlas has posted an article about their favorite remote/streaming App for iTunes and the iPod Touch. They have reviewed many of these types of programs and have come to a verdict on which application they think is the best. Remote Buddy was their choice and includes streaming music, movies and other content to the iPhone or the iPod Touch.

SEGA Producer Discusses iPhone Super Monkey Ball Port

Handwriting Recognition Could Make Its Way to iPhone, iPod touch

Back in the 1990’s Apple’s Newton handheld device had a very high tech handwriting recognition system. When the Newton officially died, the handwriting recognition system went with it. However, more signs have been leading up to the possibility of this feature being developed into OS X and the iPod Touch/ iPhone.

iPhone and iPod Touch SDK Beta 2 Released

In the ongoing wait until June for iPod Touch and iPhone version 2.0 there has been a update to the beta SDK. While Apple is still limiting many companys access to the App Store and the included $99 dollar fee the beta seems to be coming along great.

More hints at an iPod Touch Price Drop

Last month many rumors were going around that the iPhone and iPod Touch would get a price drop. However, instead the iPod Touch got a 32 GB flavor, and the iPhone got a 16 Gb size bump. At the time it was very unlikely for a price drop because of the bump in capacity sizes.
