There have been many rumors circulating around the web about what Apple’s new iPod product line will be like. One rumor suggested a “Zune Like” iPod Nano sporting a larger wide screen that was set into the iPod vertical instead of horizontal. Now a blog on BusinessWeek is claiming that a larger iPod Nano with a fully touch operated UI could be on the way.

Apple has now released 2.0.1 that was seeded to developers last month. This update contains the very vague description of “Bug Fixes”. Could this finially bring the stability to the iPod Touch after the 2.0 upgrade. We do not know as of yet but we will find out soon.

Around the month of September every year Apple holds a iPod dedicated event where they announce what new players they will have over the coming year. Rumors are going around that we will see a newly designed Nano with a larger screen and is similar to the Zune player in design. A new rumor just surfaced that it is possible that a 64 GB version of the iPod Touch will be announced.

The famous “Zune Guy” who is equally famous for his extreame love for Microsft’s Zune Media Player is now fed up with Microsofts ways and is calling quits for the device he once loved. He loved the device so much it resulted in 3 Zune themed tatoos and was always featured in tech blogs around the net.
Now he is officially with the rest of us and is a fan of the iPod Touch. Now that the 2.0 software has been released many people who having been holding off and people who never thought they wpuld own a Apple Touch device are flocking to the system.

The new iPhone Beta Firmware was released to some developers on Thursday, July 24th. In this beta there was many new interesting features for the iPhone and its location services. However, the long anticipated Copy/Paste feature may be hidden in there as well…

Now that the iTunes App Store is released you might not want a jail broken Touch as much as you used to. However, many intuitive Apps are still in the installer. Many people who do not have a Mac will not use the SDK because it is Mac OS X dependant.

When you are browsing in your mobile Safari browser and see an image you would like to save on your iPod Touch, all you have to do is touch the image and hold for about 2 seconds. This will bring up a Save Image or Cancel screen and you may save the image and it will be stored in your Saved Photos section. These photos can then be transfered to your computer from your iPod Touch.

This also requires iPod Touch version 2.0
To take a screenshot on your iPod Touch just tap the Home and Sleep buttons at the same time. This will cause your screen to flash and the screenshot will be saved into your pictures folder in the Photo app.

This requires iPod Touch Version 2.0 which is a $10 upgrade from iTunes. This 2.0 update is well worth the $10 upgrade price because most of Apps in the iTunes Store add so much to your iPod Touch when you are not in a Wi-Fi zone.
