The famous “Zune Guy” who is equally famous for his extreame love for Microsft’s Zune Media Player is now fed up with Microsofts ways and is calling quits for the device he once loved. He loved the device so much it resulted in 3 Zune themed tatoos and was always featured in tech blogs around the net.
Now he is officially with the rest of us and is a fan of the iPod Touch. Now that the 2.0 software has been released many people who having been holding off and people who never thought they wpuld own a Apple Touch device are flocking to the system.

Well, he’s welcome to my Touch. I’ve had it with the thing. I upgraded to 2.0, got the sucker set up how I wanted it and enjoyed it for half a day. Then it inexplicably slipped into recovery mode and now it’s a paperweight. None of the programs like ibrickr, iliberty, ifuntastic, etc. will work to free it and I’m unwilling to restore (my iTunes listings are a mess, hence the long process of setting the Touch up after the upgrade.) If anyone knows a way to kick an iPod Touch out of recovery mode without restoring, I’d love to hear it. Otherwise, I might take this dude’s place on the Zune lover’s list.
Sucks to be you.
